Doggie Bliss is a family-run and operated business born out of pure love and compassion for animals. After more than a decade of caring for pets in Los Angeles, founder Shannon Hill has returned home to Long Island—bringing the heart, soul, and sunshine of Doggie Bliss with her.

Shannon originally launched Doggie Bliss in 2010 after a cross-country move to Santa Monica with her partner and two Boston Terriers. What started as a one-woman operation quickly grew into one of the most trusted pet care companies on the Westside of LA. Now, she’s proud to bring the same high standards, thoughtful care, and tight-knit team energy to Northport and the surrounding communities.

Our mission is to provide our clients with the very best, personalized pet care, while allowing them to be completely relaxed and worry-free. We are proud to have a team of top-notch pet care providers who share Doggie Bliss’ passion and love for animals. Each of us strives to give your pet just the right amount of affection and exercise to guarantee his or her maximum health and happiness.

Doggie Bliss is a must use. I am so grateful to have found them to hike with my basenji mix Rex and my lab mix Bandit. Monique was super helpful responding to my questions to set up our account. Annette is a dream as a person, hiker and dog lover. I feel completely as ease knowing my pups are well cared for, loved and exercised. And my pups LOVE Annette.

I could not be happier with Doggie Bliss and with their walkers. Emma Is Amazing prompt trustworthy really works individually with MY DOG. She gives incredible updates and photos. She’s so consistent and kind and interacts with MY DOG on her visits, With play and talking AND PETS and she feeds her and wipes her down and wipes her feet. It’s really really awesome and amazing.

My dog loves Emma and waits for her by the door. Emma is like a guardian angel for her thank you Emma and Doggie Bliss.
She’s awesome for overnights. I had no concerns. I have no worries whatsoever with her or Doggie Bliss or other walkers that have had to step in if Emma’s not available like Tyler, who Is also amazing.

I have not yet seen a dog business run this well as such a tight ship where they’re flexible and the owners are kind and communicative and everything. I don’t know how to say more except for that I’m so blessed to have found them and we are all blessed to have them and I highly recommend that anyone who needs a Dog Walker or DOG SITTER use them. They are amazing.

I was in dire need for care for my two dogs when a dog walker had to cancel. Doggie Bliss promptly returned my call and was able to accommodate me. Since then I have only used Doggie Bliss as they are not only reliable, kind, and efficient, but they all are true animal lovers. The team of care providers have all been amazing as they check in with email reports of the visits, from everything to demeanor, mood, whether they ate, and went potty. They also provide photos. Top notch! I highly recommend.
