Shannon has been working with animals professionally for over 20 years and is the founder of Doggie Bliss, a highly rated and beloved pet care company originally launched in Los Angeles. What began as a one-woman operation in 2010 quickly grew into one of the most trusted names in dog walking and pet sitting on the Westside of LA—thanks to Shannon’s deep commitment to quality care, personal connection, and community values.

After more than a decade of running Doggie Bliss in California, Shannon has returned to her roots on Long Island to bring the same heart, standards, and sunshine to Northport and beyond. She’s passionate about building a strong local team and offering boutique-level service that puts pets (and their people) first.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her wife Kat, their two daughters, Skye and Raine, and their two sweet kitties, Chaplin and Willow.

Originally from a small town near Rochester, NY, Kat has had a lifelong connection with animals. From a young age, she could be found out on the trails, exploring nature with her family and caring for all kinds of pets—from dogs to hamsters and everything in between. She holds a B.A. in Behavioral Studies and a California State Cosmetology License, and while she still enjoys her work as a stylist, her heart is truly with the animals.

Kat has been part of Doggie Bliss since the very beginning and continues to bring her love, warmth, and calm energy to every pet she meets. Now back in New York, she’s excited to help grow the Doggie Bliss community on Long Island, offering the same care and connection that made the LA branch such a success.

When she’s not walking pups or helping run the business, Kat loves hiking, skiing, beach days, and cooking delicious vegan meals for her wife Shannon and their two daughters, Skye and Raine.

Monique comes to us with a diverse background of corporate structure, hospitality, consulting and management, but most importantly she comes to Doggie Bliss with knowledge and a passion for animals. Starting out as a dog walker and sitter on the Westside, she went on to enjoy all aspects of the industry from being a certified animal behaviorist and trainer, to managing multiple pet resorts and dog daycares. Fast forward to today, she happily contributes her expertise to ensure your pets are happy and healthy while in our care. In her downtime, you can find Monique volunteering at Pug Nation Los Angeles, or watching Pit Bulls and Parolees at home with her two dogs Sunshine and Lyra 🙂

Jenna was born and raised here in West Los Angeles. Her earliest experience with dogs occurred when she was just five years old, and was gifted a very sassy Pekingese puppy named Ginger. She has had an array of cat friends throughout her life, and currently has a five year old tabby named Dexter who loves to eat and nap. Jenna is a student at Santa Monica College, is planning to major in Media Studies, and hopes to venture into radio. When she’s not spending time with cats or dogs, she enjoys playing bass and writing lyrics with different projects around the Los Angeles area.

Cindy brings warmth, reliability, and a wealth of experience to the Doggie Bliss team. A retired florist and former small business owner, she spent over 15 years running her own floral studio in Cold Spring Harbor, where she perfected the art of balancing creativity, customer care, and attention to detail — qualities she now brings to every pet she cares for.

A lifelong animal lover, Cindy has trained and raised golden retrievers through the Guide Dog Foundation, giving her an exceptional understanding of canine behavior, communication, and training. Her calm, patient nature allows her to connect easily with dogs of all temperaments, ensuring each one feels safe, loved, and understood. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys hiking, sailing, camping, gardening, skiing, and baking — always embracing life with curiosity and care. Her compassion, reliability, and genuine love for animals make her a wonderful addition to the Doggie Bliss team.

Kallie is a Huntington, NY native who’s been surrounded by dogs her entire life. Her passion for pet care started early, thanks to her mom’s doggie daycare and boarding business, where she gained hands-on experience with pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior sweetheart, Kallie brings calm, confident energy to every visit.

She’s currently a student and basketball player at St. Joseph’s University, balancing her studies and athletics with her love for animals. When she’s not on the court or in class, you’ll find her out on walks, making tails wag all around town.

Born and raised in Northport, NY, Shannon has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. She began her career in customer service within the medical field, but her true calling became clear after volunteering—and eventually working—at a local animal shelter. There, she gained hands-on experience caring for and training dogs of all breeds and temperaments. It didn’t take long for Shannon to realize that working with animals was her lifelong passion. Now a certified professional dog groomer, she’s excited to spend even more time with her four-legged friends and build a life filled with puppy kisses and devoted care.
